It seems that second experiment with neutrinos proved that there is “stuff” that travels faster than light. But even if strict scientific standards do not allow us to accept this discovery as scientifically proven - we, as conscious “scientists” should claim, that there is stuff that travels faster than light. And we should claim this from the philosophical point of view.

In the moment when Lee Smolin pointed so clearly to the fallacy of fixed background as an inherent fallacy of all modern age theories including Einstin’s, it should be clear, that understand anything as being fixed, is in fact wrong. That does not mean, that speed of light is not fixed and measurable, but that the theory that claims that anything (including speed of light) is a fixed background, is wrong in principle. To say that anything is the fastest, the largest, the smallest, the whatever… and that this constant then represents a background of a theory, is wrong in principle.
We should in fact say, that we did not take Einstein’s relativity seriously. We did not understand (and he did not either) this theory as really based on relativity (no fixed background). Only after we take concept of relativity seriously, we can recognize, that that specific relativity theory (Einstein’s) is wrong in principle.
