It was discovered, that it was not Shakespeare that wrote all those plays, that we thought that were written by Shakespeare, but it was in fact another man, called Shakespeare.
Let us get rid of politicians and bankers, is a thought that is not on mouth of those that occupy Wall streets, but from time to time occupy thoughts of many disappointed by deeds and “un-deeds” of politicians and bankers. Is not a pleasant thought for a true democrat to dream about true democracy of ancient greek style (Agora type), direct democracy, where all men (all 500 of them living in Athens, excluding women, slaves and other rubbish) gathered together and vote with equal rights.
It is so natural for any man and women to dream about future on the basis of past environment. Dreams are natural - but still only dreams. Dreams of man living in poverty, being ameba, not needing shoes (ameba does not have legs, as we know, but it moves… wow!). Would not we all men and women be equal (more equal) if we would not differentiate ourselves by shoes that I can not afford to buy.
As we can say that ameba is as much a living being as a man or a woman, so we can say that ancient direct democracy is democracy as much as complicated contemporary EU or US democracy with representatives and politicians that are collecting a power to decide instead of us all in the name of us all. It is in “nature” of all complex systems (not only living creatures) that properties of such systems emerge, properties like legs, brains, cellphones, money, banks … There is no GOD, no one power, that would or could decide to create or annihilate politicians or banks. And even if an disastrous event would happen, that would destabilize western type of democracy so much, that present types of banks and politicians would disappear, there is such a strong (meaning: repetition with high accuracy and high fertility over extremely long period all around the world) pattern of banks and politicians written in our social complex system, that the replacement could only represent a minor mutation from present one. For if it was major mutation, it would by simple rules of evolution laws mean, that heavily mutated (over short period of time) social body of humanity would simply die.
So we should say, that banks, that we know now, will not be understood as banks 500 years from now, but something else, that humans living in 2500 will call banks. And same goes for politicians.
